Request Lighting RepairLighting repair that keeps the sales floor bright
When half the lights in an aisle, a pharmacy counter, or a fitting room go dark, customers notice before the work order is even written. Lighting is one of the most common work orders we handle for convenience stores, pharmacies, discount retailers, clothing stores, and offices. Most of it is at 10–14 ft ceilings, where you need the right ladder, the right parts, and someone who tests the fixture instead of just swapping bulbs.
Many older stores still run fluorescent T8 and T5 fixtures with ballasts that are failing one by one. Instead of chasing ballasts, we can rewire each fixture to bypass the ballast and run "Type B" LED tubes directly. That removes the part that keeps failing, cuts energy use, and makes future bulb changes simple. For drop ceilings, we replace worn-out troffers with 2x2 LED flat panels.
Commercial electrical and lighting services
We handle repair and replacement work on existing circuits. Work that legally requires a licensed electrical contractor and permit, such as new circuits, panel changes, or service upgrades, is coordinated with a licensed electrician, and we handle everything around it.
Common lighting problems we fix
Lights flickering
Usually a failing ballast or loose socket, not the tube. We test the components before replacing anything, then fix the actual cause.
A row of fixtures is out
Often several ballasts failing at once in an older store. Bypassing them for LED solves the whole row instead of one fixture at a time.
Dark spots in a drop ceiling
Old troffers with burnt-out or discolored lenses. A 2x2 LED panel swap gives even light and lasts far longer.
Restroom or back-room lights won't turn on
Could be a switch, a sensor, or a fixture. We diagnose on the first visit and send photos of what we found.

FAQ
Commercial Lighting & Electrical FAQ
Yes. Lighting is one of our most common commercial work orders: LED retrofits, ballast bypass, 2x2 panel replacement, fixture repair, and diagnosing lights that flicker or won't turn on, in stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and offices across King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.
Fluorescent fixtures use a ballast that wears out over time. In a ballast bypass retrofit we remove the ballast and rewire the fixture so it powers "Type B" LED tubes directly. The fixture no longer depends on a part that fails, uses less energy, and future relamping is just a tube swap.
Flickering is usually caused by a failing ballast, a loose or worn socket, or an aging tube, and less often by wiring or a switch. We test the components before replacing anything, so you pay to fix the actual cause.
