A front door that won't close, won't latch, or won't lock is one of the few repairs a business can't put off. It lets cold air and rain in, it's a security gap after hours, and if it's an exit door it's a fire-code problem. Doors are also among the most common work orders we handle: since May 2026 we've completed dozens of door work orders for convenience stores, pharmacies, discount retailers, restaurants, and office buildings from Tacoma to Snohomish County.

Door won't close or latch
Usually a closer that's out of adjustment or leaking, a worn pivot, or a strike that no longer lines up. We adjust the closer's sweep and latch speed or replace it, and re-align the strike.
Door drags or sags
Heavy glass doors wear out pivot bearings and hinges. Replacing the pivot set or hinges brings the door back into square so it swings freely.
Gap at the bottom of the door
Lets in Seattle rain, wind, and pests. A new door sweep, under-door seal, or threshold closes it and cuts heating costs.
Broken door glass
We board the opening the same day so the store is secure, then measure and install new tempered glass in the door lite.
Door is coming off its hinges
A failing hinge or pivot on a main entrance is urgent. We stabilize it on the first visit and complete the permanent repair as soon as parts are in.
Rusted or damaged steel back door
Corrosion at the bottom of steel doors and frames is common in our climate. Depending on condition we repair it with epoxy filler, paint, and kick plates, or replace the door and frame.
